Finishing: 

A range of Finishing Processes are undertaken. These include:

• Cleaning to remove Residual sand, Oxides and Surfaces scale, Often by Shot or sand Blasting.

• Heat Treatment, including Annealing, Tempering, Normalizing and Quenching. (In Water or Oil to Enhance Mechanical Properties.)

• Removal of Excess Metal or Surface Blemishes.

            • Machining

            • Non Destructive testing to check for defects

            • Priming, painting or Application of rust preventive Coating.
